Money that went somewhere does not ache; money that simply went does.

ખાધું ને દીધું તે આપણું, બાકી બધું પારકું.

One should enjoy life, practice charity, and do good deeds, because nothing of worldly wealth can be taken after death.

ખાય ન ખરચે સાધુ જન, ચોર સકલ લે જાય; જયસે મધુ મક્ષિકા, હાથ મીલા પસતાય.

Hoarding wealth without using it only benefits those who steal it.
