શૂરવીર નિર્ધન જગત, યશ લેઈ સુરપુર જાય; સુમ જગતમેં ધન સહિત, અપયશ લે મર જાય.

śūravīra nirdhana jagata, yaśa lēī surapura jāya; suma jagatamēṁ dhana sahita, apayaśa lē mara jāya.

Literally: A brave warrior, poor in the world, goes to the city of gods taking fame; a miser in the world, with wealth, dies taking infamy.
What it means: True honor lies in bravery and virtue rather than hoarded wealth, as a poor hero is remembered with glory while a rich miser dies in disgrace.
