sāsarānuṁ māna sāḷīē, jamaṇanuṁ māna thāḷīē; gāvānuṁ māna tāḷīē, nē mhōḍānuṁ māna vāṇīē.

Literally: The honor of the in-laws' house lies with the sister-in-law, the honor of a feast lies with the plate, the honor of singing lies with clapping, and the honor of the mouth lies with speech.
