putra mitra sāthē laḍē, putrī sāthē māta; lakṣmī māṭē lakṣ‍yā, laḍē bhrātathī bhrāta.

Literally: A son fights with a friend, a daughter with a mother; for Lakshmi (wealth), brothers fight with brothers.
What it means: Greed for money destroys even the closest family relationships.
