panaghaṭa pana ghaṭa hē, panaghaṭa vāṁkā nāma; tulasī pana kaisē rahē, pana ghaṭavēkā ṭhāma.

Literally: The water-ghat is indeed the decrease of life, water-ghat is a crooked name; Tulsidas says, how can life remain at the place of its decrease?
What it means: A play on words warning that visiting places of worldly temptation or indulgence gradually erodes one's spiritual vows and life force.
