nārī pūchata sumakuṁ, kahāṁsē badana malīna; kahāṁ gāṁṭhasē gīra pajhō, kahā phāuṁkuṁ dīna.

Literally: Woman asks the miser, why is your body pale; why did the knot not open, why is the day spent in hunger.
What it means: A miser suffers physically and mentally because they refuse to spend their own money.
