નહીં ગાંઠસે ગીર પક્ષો, નહીં કીસીકું દીન; દેતે દેખા ઓરકું, વહાંસે મુખ મલીન.

nahīṁ gāṁṭhasē gīra pakṣō, nahīṁ kīsīkuṁ dīna; dētē dēkhā ōrakuṁ, vahāṁsē mukha malīna.

Literally
Money did not fall from my purse, nor did I give to anyone; I saw someone else giving away, and that made my face dark.
