મરદની ગરદમાં રહેલું, પણ નામરદાના સરદાર થઈને રહેવું નહીં.

maradanī garadamāṁ rahēluṁ, paṇa nāmaradānā saradāra thaīnē rahēvuṁ nahīṁ.

Literally
To remain in the protection of a brave man, but not to remain as the leader of cowards.
