lōbhī rījhē dāmē, pulaṇajī rījhē nāmē; tāḍīē rījhē gōlā, nē gōpī rījhē sāmē.

Literally: A miser is pleased by money, a vain man is pleased by fame; a servant is pleased by toddy, and a milkmaid is pleased face to face.
