jōḍāṇuṁ—kharā cahaḍāvī khāsaḍāṁ pahēryāṁ, ūṁcī cahaḍāvī bāṁhē;

Literally: Putting on shoes tightly and rolling up sleeves, wandering here and there, returning inside the house.
What it means: Said of someone who makes a great show of activity without accomplishing anything.
