jara thōḍā, snēha ghaṇā, tuṁ śuṁ mārīśa pāradhī. vaṇa māryā muāṁ.

Literally: Little wealth, much love; what will you shoot, hunter? We are already dead without being shot.
What it means: People who are already overwhelmed by poverty and deep emotional bonds do not need external threats to ruin them; they are already vulnerable.
