જાગે જે કાઈ ધનનો ધણી, જાગે જેને ચીંતા ઘણી, જ રાત અંધેરી ચોર, જાગે જેનાં ઘરમાં શાપ, જ જે દીકરીના બાપ, જાગે જે ભજે જગદીશ. જાગે જેને દેવું શીશ, જાગે જેની દેહમાં દુઃખ, જ જેને લાગે ભુખ.

jāgē jē kāī dhananō dhaṇī, jāgē jēnē cīṁtā ghaṇī, ja rāta aṁdhērī cōra, jāgē jēnāṁ gharamāṁ śāpa, ja jē dīkarīnā bāpa, jāgē jē bhajē jagadīśa. jāgē jēnē dēvuṁ śīśa, jāgē jēnī dēhamāṁ duḥkha, ja jēnē lāgē bhukha.

Literally
He who is a master of wealth wakes, he who has much worry wakes, the thief in the dark night wakes, he who has a snake in his house wakes, he who is the father of a daughter wakes, he who worships God wakes. He who has debt wakes, he who has pain in his body wakes, he who feels hunger wakes.
