ઘર ઘર ઠેપર ખાય, ખવરાવી જાણે નહીં; ધૂડ પડી જીવતરમાંહે, સાચું સોરઠીઆ ભણે.

ghara ghara ṭhēpara khāya, khavarāvī jāṇē nahīṁ; dhūḍa paḍī jīvataramāṁhē, sācuṁ sōraṭhīā bhaṇē.

Literally
He eats bread from house to house, but does not know how to feed others; dust upon such a life, so says the true Sorathia.
