ખાતરીભાઈ ખાડમાં તે ખાડમાં.
ઘોઈ હથેળીમાં ધૂળ ભરી.
લીંબડે ચડ્યા, પીપળે ચડ્યા, પણ ઠેરના ઠેર.
શેઠ ક્યાં, તા કહે જ્યાં ને ત્યાં.
કંથડા એડી શીણીઓ જેમા લા નહીં કે સા.
કાકા ક્યાં તા કહે ઠેરના ઠેર.
મેહનત બરબાદ, ગુનાહ લાજમ.
વેહલા ઉઠ્યા ને ભૂલા પડ્યા.
