દીજે તા વેશ્યાકું દીજે, બ્રાહ્મણ દીજે નર્ક પરીજે;

dījē tā vēśyākuṁ dījē, brāhmaṇa dījē narka parījē;

Literally: If you must give, give to a prostitute; if you give to a Brahmin, you fall into hell.
What it means: Said to mock the greed or ungratefulness of Brahmins, suggesting that charity to them brings no merit compared to others.
