dālata bēṭī sumakī, kharacī kadī na jāya;

Literally: Wealth is the daughter of a miser, she is never spent; raised and nourished to be big, she suddenly leaves for another's house.
What it means: A miser hoards wealth without ever enjoying it, only for it to eventually end up in someone else's hands.
