cāraṇīnā guṇa karavā lāga, supaḍānā guṇa grahavā bhāga.

Literally: Begin to adopt the qualities of a sieve, and hasten to acquire the qualities of a winnowing basket.
What it means: One should learn to filter out the bad and retain only the good, just as a sieve and winnowing basket separate chaff from grain.
