બેઠક Bethak

ચાહત વે કીસ કામકી, બિન ચાહતકે સંગ; દીપકકે મન ભાયનાં, જલ જલ મરે પતંગ.

cāhata vē kīsa kāmakī, bina cāhatakē saṁga; dīpakakē mana bhāyanāṁ, jala jala marē pataṁga.

Literally
Of what use is love when it is with one who does not love back? The moth burns itself to death, but it does not please the mind of the lamp.
What it means
One-sided love is futile and tragic, as sacrificing oneself for someone who does not care brings only self-destruction.
