bhūta lagē madirā pīē, sabakuṁ śuddhi hōya; prēma sudhārasa chana pāyā, tīṇu rahē na śuddhi kōya.

Literally: Those possessed by ghosts or who drink wine eventually regain their senses; but he who has tasted the nectar of love even for a moment never regains his senses.
What it means: The intoxication of true love is far more powerful and permanent than any physical inebriation or mental affliction.
