ānaṁda kahē paramānaṁdā, kajīāmāṁ nava javuṁ; khīcaḍī khāvī gāṁṭhanī, nē jyāṁ tyāṁ rajhaḷāvuṁ.

Literally: Anand says to Parmanand, never get into a quarrel; eat khichdi from your own pocket, and wander wherever you like.
What it means: It is far better to live peacefully on one's own modest means and enjoy freedom than to get entangled in disputes.
