ānaṁda kahē paramānaṁdā, bāpathī chēṭē rahīē; kāṁ tō kahēśē vaṁṭhī gayō, kāṁ namālā harīē.

Literally: Anand says to Parmanand, let us stay away from our father; either he will say you have gone astray, or that we wander like useless ones.
What it means: Keeping a respectful distance from one's parents prevents constant criticism and maintains peace in relationships.
