amala khāṭaṇu jōgapaṁtha, śūrā huṁdā kāma; kācara khaḍaga na vāvarē, kācara dē nahīṁ dāna.

(ભાવાર્થ) અમલ એટલે રાજ્યાધિકાર ખાટવો (મેળવવો) અને યોગી પુરુષના યોગ પંથે ચડવું એ કામ શૂરવીરનાં છે. કાચર કદી ખાંડું વાવરે નહીં. ખડડા ખાંડે વઢે નહીં, ને કાચર એટલે નમાલા કદિ દાન આપે નહીં.
